EastAgri

About EastAgri

EastAgri is a network of agriculture and agribusiness institutions committed to improved collaboration toward common objectives through information sharing. The program was developed in response to the need for greater coordination in the efforts of financial institutions operating on all levels of agribusiness investment in the regions of Central Asia and Central and Eastern Europe.

As the hub of information on agricultural projects and sector knowledge with regional focus on Central and Eastern Europe, our members strive to build relationships, share experiences and overall strengthen communication. These partnerships facilitate the exchange of best practices and lessons learned and generate more innovative approaches towards agricultural/agribusiness investments among IFIs and private banks operating in the region.

It is not the goal of our members to replace current channels of communication. We seek to support them by broadening their visibility and increasing their effectiveness, resulting in institutional synergies at the operational level.

EastAgri was co-founded by the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and is managed by the Food and Agricultural Organization of the United Nations.
