Shaping a more intense dialogue between public and private stakeholders in Ukraine's grain sector

A round table on the Public and Private Sectors in the Sustainable Development of the Ukrainian Grain Sector was organized by the FAO and the EBRD, with the assistance of UkrAgroConsult, at the occasion of the the 6th International Conference Black Sea Grain 2009 held on 22 April 2009 in Kiev, Ukraine. The results of a FAO/EBRD Grain Sector Review report were presented to the audience aimed at facilitating the dialogue between the public and private grain sectors which would lead towards increased sector's attractiveness for potential investors.A second event took place during the 8th International Conference “Grain Forum & Grain Industry – 2009” on 21 May 2009 in Yalta, Ukraine where the main finding and conclusions of a report on "Perspectives and Options for EU Grain Trade with Ukraine" were presented.
